At the ceremony in Kempinski Hotel Zografski was present the Sate Secretary of Tourism of Protugal Luis Corea Da Silva who presented the Minister of Youth and Sports Vassil Ivanov with a trophy symbolising the Bulgarian national team’s reaching the final stages of the European Football Championship.

A Memorial evening with a concert-prayer dedicated to Yom Ha’Shoa – Memorial Day for the Holocaust took place on April 18 in the synagogue in Sofia

It was organised by the Central Israeli Council, the Organisation of the Jews in Bulgaria “Shalom” and the Embassy of the State of Israel.
