In the current season, Debut Gallery will arrange a series of exhibitions marking the 55th anniversary of the National School of Fine Arts. On the first school day, September 15, “The Trace” was opened. It features drawings, etchings and paintings from the collection of Petar Bunardjiev – years-long lecturer and director of the high school.

The displayed works show the image and dynamism of contemporary Bulgarian art. The interest of the audience was very much stirred by the early works of the unique Margo (Margarit Tsanev) and Tanya Vladova, who passed away so young. Admiration was aroused by the energetic and inspired works of Nadezhda Kuteva, Ivan Dimov, Stoyan Tzanev, Stoimen Stoilov, Todor Vardjiev, Bozhidar Ikonomov. And the wonderful drawings and etudes of Nikolai Maistorov, Toma Varbanov, Lyubomir Karaleev, Georgi Boyadjiev and many other authors.
