On September 28, in Sofia a painting exhibition of the famous Bulgarian artist Teofan Sokerov was opened. A phenomenon in contemporary Bulgarian painting, his canvasses feature a unique symbiosis of his pursuits in the area of painting and in monumental art.

In Krag+ Gallery the artist showed works created between 2002 and 2005. He says they are different not so much in terms of their style-plastic approach as in terms of atmosphere and the seeking of a simplified situation with no plot. The means of expression with a delicate deformation and completely simplified color scheme contribute to their direct effect.
