On April 15, a ceremonial meeting was held in the Grand Hall of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) under the heading “25 years since the first flight of a Bulgarian in space”, organized by the Institute of Space Research and the Central Laboratory for Sun-Earth Interaction. The meeting was attended by the Bulgarian astronauts and their foreign colleagues, scientists and space research experts, journalists. The scientific session was monitored by Acad. Nikola Sabotinov, Deputy Chairman of BAS, who recounted the history of astronautics in Bulgaria:

On April 15, the astronauts had a meeting with the Chairman of the National Assembly Prof. Ognyan Gerdjikov. He decorated them with an honorary plaque of the National Assembly.

On April 15, President Georgi Parvanov received at the Presidency astronauts and space research scientists.

Minister Svinarov received the astronauts in Lozenets Residence and presented them with plaques and badges

On April 16, the astronauts placed a bell on the Banner of Peace monument
