A cool summer night, stone pillars and ornaments from remote Roman times, men in iron armoury holding shields and spears in their hands – amidst scenery whispering messages about intransient values move the ghostly silhouettes of Venuses. The most beautiful models of Visage Models Group display the latest irresistible clothes designed by Virginia Zdravkova in Boyana Cinema Center. As if in a film, incredibly feminine wedding gowns, blending the tight line with the crinoline opulence at the lower part, form a smoothly progressing procession. Svarovsky gems, beads and crystals sparkle in the dark. Exquisite shoulders are unveiled beneath fox fur shawls… Fabrics fragrant of luxury, fashioned by the talented hand of a designer obsessed with beauty. Evening gowns satisfying even the finest of tastes… Although Virginia Zdravkova emerged on the Bulgarian fashion scene quite recently, she has demonstrated fineness and flare, striving inexhaustibly and single-mindedly to rank among the top designers and earn a good name. And she made it. She is bearer of prestigious fashion awards, among them Golden Needle 2003. Undaunted, she creates one collection after the other and becomes increasingly better. Her aspiration for perfection unflinchingly leads her to the luxury and comfort of the elegant formal wear. When the night sky over Boyana was illuminated by the flaming letters of the designer’s logo, it seemed be the climax of the grand fashion show, which had gathered an elite audience from the artistic and business world. Dressed in the wedding gowns of Virginia Studio, hundreds of women have got married not only in Bulgaria but also abroad. Moreover, all the candidates in Mrs. Globe and Mrs. Bulgaria competition wear them in the final round. The designer’s trademark has undoubtedly grown into a symbol of refinement and aristocratism.
