Nikol Slavova’s dream is to be an actress, “because the cinema is magic”. She knows the stage better than the catwalk – she has been singing and dancing since the age of two, and in 2000 the former Bulgarian President Mr. Petar Stoyanov presented her with a passport “for the youngest performer” in Rozhen song contest. Her mother is an accountant, her father – a driver. Nikol has a sister, who is 18 month old and has already appeared in two fashion shows.

Nikol made her first steps in her career as a model before she turned 6.

In May 2004 she took part in a competition for a child’s face, staged by Vasage, and won it. Suddenly the sunny kid was overwhelmed by job offers: she was engaged in an advertisement for housing credits and a number of fashion shows. On April 12, 2005, the first-grade pupil from 175 Primary School Vassil Levsky in the village of Mramor returned from the Dominican Republic, where she presented Bulgaria at the competition Little Princess of the World, with the crown of 2005 Mini Miss World in the 5 to 9 age group.

The three-round competition was held in Santo Domingo from 4 to 10 April. The beautiful Nikol became the audience favorite even at the presentation of the participants. The program also included an evening of talents, a visit to an orphanage and a sightseeing trip round the capital. The crown of the winner has been elaborated in Los Angeles, California, and she will hand over in person to the future Mini Miss in 2006.

Nikol Slavova was in the jury of this year’s edition of Visage Mini Models together with Evgenia Kalkandjieva, Tony Raponska, Vlady Aprilov and Antonia Zapryanova, bearer of the title Little Princess of Friendship from the contest in the Dominican Republic.
