On June 16, at the Embassy of Serbia and Montenegro, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary H.E. Mr. Danilo Vuchetich and col. Radovan Miletic, military attach, hosted a reception on the occasion of the Army Day. The occasion this year brought together many guests in the Embassy’s garden – ambassadors, MPs, military men. They seized the opportunity to meet the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia and Montenegro who had presented his letters of credence earlier the same day. H.E. Mr. Abdeslam Rharbaoui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia and Montenegro, H.E. Mr. Danilo Vucetic, Col. Radovan Miletic and his wife For the Day of Statehood – June 23, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia H.E. Mr. Drazen Vukov-Colic and his wife Mrs. Davorka Vukov-Colic hosted a reception. Representatives of the government, of the diplomatic, business and cultural circles came to honor the occasion at Kempinski Hotel Zografski. On June 17, in the Japanese garden of Kempinski Hotel Zografski, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Seychelles in Bulgaria Mr. Maxim Behar hosted a reception on the occasion of the Seychelles National Holiday and the official opening of the Consulate of the Republic in Bulgaria. In the hotel foyer was arranged an exhibition of pictures from the Seychelles Islands taken by the Honorary Consul, entitled “Unique by a Thousand Smiles”. Mr. Behar dedicated the exposition to the memory of his father Mr. Moncho Behar. With H.E. Mr. Mohamed Laala, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s and Democratic Republic of Algeria H.E. Mr. James Pardew, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA, and his wife Mrs. Kathy Pardew hosted a reception on the occasion of the US National Day – July 4, Independence Day. The event was attended by government representatives, the diplomatic corps, political and public figures, people from the artistic and the show business circles, friends of the two countries. The event was particularly moving also because many of the guests had come to pay their respects personally to H.E. Mr. James Pardew before his final departure from the country. Mrs. Kathy Pardew, H.E. Mr. James Pardew, Mr. Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, and his wife Mrs. Margarita Gomes Acebo On July 1, H.E. Mr. Alexander Petrov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, and his wife hosted a reception on the occasion of the country’s National Day – Independence Day. To celebrate the event at Park Hotel Moskva came ambassadors, politicians, representatives of the cultural and the spiritual elite and many friends of the two countries.
On the occasion of the National Day of Canada – July 1, the Honorary Consul Mr. Levon Hampartsumyan hosted a reception. To the elegant reception organized on July 7 at the Hilton came representatives of the diplomatic, business and cultural circles. Mr. David McGregor, economic counsellor, Col. Romas Blekaitis, military attache, Mr. Paul Roche, political adviser at the Embassy of Canada, and the Honorary Consul Mr. Levon Hampartsumyan July 9 is the National Day of the Republic of Argentina – Independence Day. On this occasion the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary H.E. Mr. Geronimo Cortes Funes and his wife Mrs. Marion de Cortes Funes hosted a reception. On July 8, many guests gathered in the cozy atmosphere of Interpred to honor the event. It was attended by diplomats, cultural figures and representatives of the business circles. Pr Arzentina.jpg The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta H.E. Mr. Umberto di Capua and his wife Mrs. Marina di Capua hosted a reception on June 24. The occasion was the National Day of the Order – the Day of St. John The Baptist. The unique atmosphere of the Archeological Museum brought together representatives of the government, of the diplomatic missions in Bulgaria and friends of the Order.
