The first tourist map of Coastal Strandzha Tsarevo Municipality Tsarevo welcomed the tourist season with a new information center and the first tourist map of the Coastal Strandzha region – in a 70/100 cm size. The publishers – “Cartography” EOOD, Sofia, and International Trade and Cultural Center “Geopan”, Bourgas, make a special presentation of Tsarevo municipality. The map lists all necessary information for the European tourist (settlements, road network, communication facilities, tourist base, natural monuments). The content of the fold-out map goes beyond the limits of the traditional tourist cartography. This makes the first tourist map of Coastal Strandzha a first-class guide for cultural and eco tourism in Tsarevo municipality. The fold-out map also features natural monuments – protected territories, cultural monuments and traditional Bulgarian culture. Thanks to the support of the Regional Inspectorate of Environment and Waters, Bourgas, the map also shows the riches of the 10 protected territories in the municipality. These include the oldest, the biggest, and the smallest reserve in Bulgaria. The backside of the map features high-quality art illustrations, text descriptions of sites from the natural, cultural, and historical heritage of Tsarevo municipality along with essential information for its visitors. It is also noteworthy to mention the published cultural calendar of the municipality. The map folds to 12/22 cm. 2 000 copies have been printed. They are distributed in Bulgaria by the Helicon bookshop chain. The map can also be used as a wall map, while a limited print on special paper for illuminated panels is in process of preparation for the hotels, the local tourist sites, and the information centers. Tsarevo Municipality has also launched an initiative for the reconstruction of the biggest Bulgarian sailing-boat “Goryanin”, built in the town of Tsarevo in 1943-1947. |
