On May 19, at the French Cultural Institute an exhibition of Prof. Dimitar Trendafilov was opened. His works, classical and digital calligraphy, stirred great interest among the guests.

Dimitar Trendafilov graduated in Illustration in 1965 at the studio of Prof. Veselin Staykov in the National Arts Academy. He specialized in type and calligraphy in Tallinn and Prague. He worked as an artist for Narodna Kultura newspaper and the Bulgarian National Television. For over 30 years now, he has been lecturing in type and calligraphy at the Arts Academy in Sofia.
