For the tenth consecutive year this festival of the muses opened on May 11, the day of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, patrons of Europe. For the tenth time the National Palace of Culture opened doors to shelter the arts and present to the audience a true spiritual feast. Because, as Mr. Hristo Drumev, Director General of the National Palace of Culture and manager of the event, proudly says: “Bulgaria is a nation of deep-rooted tradition, and European cultural parity in the modern civilization. The Salon des Arts focuses all that the cardiograph of the spirit registers in Bulgaria over the years.”

The tenth edition of the Salon was held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov. Congratulatory addresses were received from the Minister of Culture and Tourism Nina Chilova and from the Mayor of Sofia Stefan Sofiyanski. The BTA journalist Petya Alexandrova dedicated to it.
