On April 26, H.E. Mr. Chedomir Radojkovich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia and Montenegro to Bulgaria, hosted a reception on the occasion of his final departure from the country.

His Excellency said “goodbye” to Bulgaria, to his colleagues, to his Bulgarian friends. The halls of the embassy were full of guests who had come to honor an extraordinary ambassador and person. His Excellency said that he really enjoyed working with the team of our magazine. Only a couple of months ago, a special issue marked the 125th anniversary of the establishment of our diplomatic relations with Serbia and Montenegro, published with the kind cooperation of the Embassy.

On April 28, the Bulgarian President Mr. Georgi Parvanov conferred order Stara Planina 1st class to the Ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro to Bulgaria H.E. Mr. Cùedomir RadojkovicŽ for his exceptional merits in the development of the relations between the two countries and on the occasion of his departure from the country.

On April 27, at the Archeological Museum H.E. Mr. Jannie Momberg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa hosted a reception on the occasion of the country’s National Day – Liberty Day. It was attended by representatives of the diplomatic missions to Bulgaria, friends and admirers of South Africa.

On April 28, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland H.E. Dr. Slawomir Dabrova hosted a reception at the embassy on the occasion of the National Day of the country – Day of the Constitution of May 3, 1791. The event was attended by diplomats, representatives of the public and cultural circles in Bulgaria, friends of the Polish people.

On April 30, the Kingdom of the Netherlands celebrated the Day of the Queen. On the eve of the National Day the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary H.E. Baroness Henriette Van Lynden hosted a big reception.

There were many guests at the archeological museum in Sofia, among whom President Georgi Parvanov, the Minister of European Affairs Meglena Kuneva, ambassadors, members of parliament, public and cultural figures.

On the occasion of the National Day of the State of Israel, Independence Day, H.E. Mr. Avraham Sharon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, and his wife Mrs. Ahuva Sharon hosted a reception

On May 12, in the elegant atmosphere of Sheraton Hotel, the numerous guests who had come to honor the hosts – ambassadors, politicians, diplomats and friends, celebrated together the National Day of the State of Israel.
