The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India H.E. Mr. Dinkar Khullar and his wife Mrs. Mala Khullar hosted a reception on January 26. The Embassy of Cuba and Jose Marti Foundation marked the anniversary on January 28, at Jose Marti Square before the monument to the Cuban national hero, poet and fighter for independence. Yordanka Hristova, chairperson of the foundation, opened the celebration. It was attended by the ambassadors of the Republic of South Africa Mr. Tobias Gerhardus Visser, of Palestine H.E. Mr. Mohamed M. Salaymeh, of Algeria H.E. Mr. Mohamed Laala and of Romania H.E. Mr. Mihail Rosianu.

On February 8, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran H.E. Mr. Fereidoun Haghbin and his wife hosted a reception on the occasion of the 26th National Day of the country.
