A journalist from Bulgarian Diplomatic Review received the Francophone Journalist of the Year Top Award

The event was held on December 19, 2003 in the French Cultural Institute.

The Bulgarian Section of the International Union of Francophone Journalists and Media decided to honour with awards the journalists, who had most actively covered the francophonie activities during the year 2003. According to the decision, the awards were conferred to journalists, who are not members of the National Bureau and who do not work for media, responsible for covering events with francophone context.

With a leading number of publications – 15, the top place was won by our colleague, the journalist from Bulgarian Diplomatic Review, Ekaterina Pavlova

.Ekaterina Pavlova received an album with works of Belgian artists from the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium Mr. Marc Verheyleweghen.

President Parvanov gave the awards to the ten Best Sportsmen of the Year
