ГрафикаAn exhibition of one of the greatest modernists, the German artist Max Ernst was opened on September 16 at the National Gallery for Foreign Art. This extraordinary cultural event was attended by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bulgaria Dr. Harald Kindermann, the Goethe Institut Director Mr. Peter Anders, the Deputy Minister of Education Borislav Abadjiev and the Gallery Director Mr. Georgi Lipovanski.

The graphic works and illustrations of Max Ernst occupy a special place in the cultural space of Europe. Early works from the times of Dadaism, collage novels from the period of Surrealism, separate drawings from a later period where we find cubist and geometrical elements, this is all gathered in the exhibition of 196 graphics and 26 books.
