Българската черква

No Bulgarian can go to Bucharest and not visit the Bulgarian church there. St. Iliya the Prophet is its patron and on July 20, the 50th anniversary of the church was officially marked in the Romanian capital. The priest Petar Totev, young, intelligent and exceptionally modest man, has been serving in the church for 13 years now. Helpful and devoted to his spiritual work, he enjoys not only the respect and the love of his parishioners but also popularity among the representatives of the East Orthodox religion in Bucharest. He helps the work of the Bulgarian Society Brotherhood and contributes to the Bulgarian Church Newspaper and the yearbook of the Romanian Patriarchate.
