Minister Solomon Passy on a visit to the USA

On February 24, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Solomon Passy left for the USA. On February 25, he was in New York and on February 26-27 – in Washington. During the visit our first diplomat took part in a session of the UN General Assembly and had meetings with American political leaders.

NATO gave high assessment to Bulgaria for its participation in the military operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and the Balkans

On February 26, the deputy head of the NATO Military Committee Vice Admiral Malcolm Fages arrived on a four-day official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of the Chief of Staff of the Bulgarian Army Gen. Nikola Kolev. The aim of the visit was to discuss the state and prospects of the military-technical cooperation between the Bulgarian army and NATO.
