Polo – the King of Sports and the Sport for Kings

Polo dates from the times of Chingiz Khan and the first recorded match was between Pakistan and Turkmenistan in 3rd c. BC.

It is called the king of sports since it requires a lot of financial means, on the one hand, and on the other, the polo players must possess great physical strength and stamina, teamwork and perfect riding skills.

Ever since it came into existence, polo has been played only by men. The first female competitors came in this sport in recent years.
