Air Sofia Golf Course in the town of Ihtiman covers a territory of 432 decares. At the end of July, after its expansion it will cover an area of over 500 decares. The first golf course in Bulgaria with 18 holes was opened on June 10, 2000. Its 4th anniversary was officially celebrated on June 12, 2004.

Three luxury villas have been built on the golf course in Ihtiman in different styles: a Koprivshtitsa house, a European house in Alpine style and an Asian style house. They are an attraction for the Bulgarian and foreign guests. 18 similar houses are planned to be built – the same number as the course fairways. The first one of the project – the Fairway house is already completed.

The golf complex in Ihtiman has a driving range and a putting green, where the beginners can make their first steps in golf, coached by a professional trainer from Sri Lanka with 36 years of experience, and the regular players can warm up before the game or refine in some strokes.
