A work by St. Methodius, written 11 centuries ago, came back to life

The chance to listen to and experience a work created 1120 years ago is a rare opportunity, especially when it is authored by the proto-apostle of Bulgarian letters St. Methodius. Just before Christmas, on December 22, 2006 in the grand hall of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences the admirers of church music received a special Christmas gift. The faith and love of two saints protectors of our country reached out to us through the centuries. The orthodox male ensemble Bulgaria, directed and conducted by maestro Valentin Bobevski performed for the first time the reconstructed Canon of St. Demetrius of Thessalonica.
