United in Diversity - this is the magical formula that unites almost half a billion Europeans. And since January 1, it incorporates Bulgaria and Romania in the European family too. Each EU state is different; different are the languages, the flags, the anthems, the holidays, the landmarks. Putting all this together we get a diversity which makes us a community unique in the world. Because the road to united Europe is paved by over 2000 years of shared history and by the efforts of 120 generations of Europeans.
