Madagascar’s President Marc Ravalomanana, accompanied by his wife, arrived on March 20, 2004 in the city of Burgas for the engagement of his son Josoa and his fiancée Gergana Georgieva.

The first-born son of the Madagascar’s President and the Bulgarian girl from Burgas met each other in the German city of Heidelberg, where they are students. Gergana’s father Zhelyazko Georgiev, unlike his future African in-law, is only a prosecutor, her mother – Tania Georgieva is a librarian.
