The Ireland’s EU Presidency Priorities

On January 30, 2004, at Sheraton hotel a Presentation of Ireland’s EU Presidency Priorities took place, organised by the European Institute, Bulgaria. Mr. Austin Gormley, Chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of Ireland to Bulgaria delivered the presentation.

On the occasion of the National Day of the Islamic Republic of Iran, February 11, H.E. Mr. Fereidoun Haghbin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic and his wife hosted a reception

The date February 11, 1979, marked the victory of the Islamic revolution and this year 25 years of the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran are celebrated. Among the guests of the reception, held in Kempinksi Hotel Zografski, were diplomats and politicians, representatives of the business and cultural circles and many friends of both peoples. The guests enjoyed performances of traditional Iranian music and saw a documentary film about the cultural and tourist sights of Ancient Persia and the scientific, industrial and artistic achievements of the modern Iranian society.

On February 20, the President Georgi Parvanov decorated H.E. Mr. Kim Seung-eui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea, with Stara Planina Order 1st Class for the promotion and strengthening of Bulgarian-Korean relations.

On February 25, at Sheraton hotel H.E. Mr. Mohammad Al-Awadhi hosted a reception on the occasion of the National Day of Kuwait
