Dear Readers,

We are happy to have been with you for ten years now. Each one full of excitements and pleasant experiences, travelling the roads of Bulgaria and looking in even at the most out-of-the-way and inaccessible corners of our country in order to get better acquainted with our cultural and historic heritage, to meet people taking good care of what we have and ambitious to climb peaks and open up new horizons. And how good we feel when foreign diplomats here underline that they are enchanted by the beauty of the nature, the cosiness and unique hospitality in our towns and villages, that they wish to get deeper knowledge of our history, visit more places and later return repeatedly to our land.

In these ten years Europe embraced us and we rushed to make a show of ourselves. Whether we show our real essence – most people doubt it and even protest. Therefore, let us invite more people to visit us and see our true face, let us recount more about ourselves and show what nature has given us and our abilities. Let us make a brand of Bulgaria and Made in Bulgaria. Let us not be hindered by economic crises, social problems, because in the hardest of times humanity was saved by faith, intellectual food and literature.

Europe and the world expect us and we must believe that we will build a stronger Europe, a Europe at the service of citizens and man. Let us look at ourselves and reassess our own criteria and resources, so that we set our own yard in order.

And finally say to ourselves that our country is rich, and our destiny is in our own hands.
